Painting is a relatively inexpensive way to liven up your room and make an impactful change, especially if you paint something other than the walls. Look around your room to see what might benefit from a new color. Maybe a coffee table, side chair, or frame?
Not sure what color to use? Work off your room’s existing color palette. For example, choose a color from your sofa’s upholstery or from a rug.
You could also stick with a standard and go neutral. Repaint old pieces in white or black for a lasting look. During a recent room redesign, we transformed the frame of this emerald green chair with a coat of high-gloss black paint.
