There’s a new trend that’s been catching my eye—one that I like a lot. Quartz and stone-inspired prints and products are popping up in design schemes all over the place, and I’m loving the look of it. I’m seeing this trend in wallpaper patterns, cabinet hardware, jewelry and accessories, and even furniture.
What I love most about this trend is that it’s a fresh, interesting way to add a natural element to a room. For years we have seen the petrified wood stumps, and for many those are too rough and tumble. The geodes and stones are a prettier way to bring in an organic, interesting material to a room. And a room with a lot of texture and variety is always a winner!
Take this lovely indigo room featuring our Mineral Oak Planks from the Elevae Collection. The geode accents on the wall and chest add extra dimension without venturing too far out of the color palette.
I saw this Cerruti Baleri chair in Paris. It looks like it’s made of stone…but look again. It’s really stone-inspired fabric. Genius!
And here’s the stone trend on a much smaller scale. These soap rocks are one of my favorite hostess gifts, and they also make a beautiful (and totally on-trend) accessory for the powder room!
These swirled agate knobs are another beautiful, budget-friendly way to work the stone trend into your décor. They’d be gorgeous on a dresser or in the bathroom.
Wallpaper is a great way to take this trend to the top (literally). I love the idea of a feature wall done in an agate wallpaper, or even a small powder room from floor to ceiling. Very sophisticated.
Moore & Giles even has a stone-inspired suede. How fabulous would this be on a sofa or set of dining room chairs?
Are you loving this stone-inspired trend as much as I am?
